The doctor called this morning and gave us wonderful news. He said that everything came back as non malignant! Meaning NO CANCER!!!! He sounded excited and of course we are thrilled. He told us that the cultures for exactly what it is has not come back yet but that by the time we go in for our follow up appointment on Monday he should know more. He also said that based on what he saw and from some of the reports he thought that it was Cat Scratch Disease. I was surprised to hear that because we had already been down that road and everything came back as negative on those tests. He continued to say that he should definitely know by Monday and that if it is CSD then he is not going to treat her with any other medicine. That is also good news because the first round of medicine we took for CSD was awful and it made her little body so sick. He said that as long as she wasn't complaining or that the other lymph node didn't get any bigger that he would just leave it alone to see if her body could take care of it on its own. Remember, this is all preliminary and we should have more definite answers Monday. The best news is that it is not Lymphoma!!!
We have been so overwhelmed by all the love and support. Thank you for praying for our family. God has answered, provided, taught, and strengthened us all the way! I don't know how we would have gotten through this without Him. All the glory is to God.
God is continuing to provide. I am so pleased with our doctor and what a good job he has done. He really seems to care about Mollie. I know that he is doing his best and making sure she is taken care of. I am excited about Monday and the possibility that we will be able to turn the page of this chapter in our life. We have the opportunity to encourage others through scary times of health and to show the peace that Christ provides.
Here is a picture of sweet Mollie a few days before the surgery. She says thank you for praying as well! God has already done so many things through her life and I can't wait to see what he continues to do.
That is wonderful news! Will keep praying for ya!
